Santorini

A unique linear settlement that lies on the edge of the cliff along Caldera, built at late 16th century. Its name imera ( day in Greek) and vigla ( watchtower in Greek ) is located at the top of Caldera, possibly worked in the past as a lookout point for  pirate ships. Don’t miss the opportunity to admire the architecture of this traditional village that attracts high standard tourism during summer. In Merovigli you will find also restaurants, taverns, rental and travel agencies but also  luxury hotels. Fira and Imerovigli are just 3 kilometers away, the access to the village is possible from the main road or the cobblestone path that leads from Fira to Firostefani and Imerovigli.
